ORIA was founded by Emy Erede Moresco (1907-1988), in 1953, She was a renowned figure of the Italian cultural scene, both in theatre and classical music. She was the first to bring to Italy Evgheni Mrawinski with the Leningrad Philharmonic Orchestra, Sviatoslav Richter, Laurence Olivier and

Vivien Leigh, Marcel Marceau, Karl Richter, Igor Moisseiev, Antonio

Gades, and was able to promote abroad Dino Ciani, Riccardo Muti,

Pina Carmirelli, Giorgio Strehler 's Theatre, Anna Magnani and

many others.


Denise Petriccione career started in theatre. Together with Gabriele Salvatores she founded "la Compagnia del Teatro dell'Elfo", and later worked at Giorgio Strehler's Piccolo Teatro in Milan. In 1978 Denise joined ORIA, becoming a partner shortly afterwards.


Maria Bruzzese studied with Karl Richter in Munich, becoming later on his assistant. She continued to work in Munich with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Bavaria  in Munich  until when in 1984 she was approached by Emy Moresco and joined ORIA.


In 2009 two different offices have been created : oria milano by Denise Petriccione working in Milan via Savoia Cavalleria 10  and oria lucca by Maria Bruzzese operating in Lucca, via Buia 21.

Both offices are continuing the long activity of ORIA in Italy and abroad.
