Anton and Daniel Gerzenberg started on the piano with their mother Lilya Zilberstein and then studied with Julia Suslin and Julija Botchkovskaia.

Daniel -born in 1991- has received a scholarship from the Hamburg Music and Theatre Academy, where he is studying with Professor Marian Migdal; he already won a first prize at the Steinway Competition in Hamburg and at the Youth Makes Music Competition.

Anton -born in 1996- also won a first prize in the same competitions and made his debut with orchestra playing the Kabalevsky’s Third Concerto at the end of 2009. He plays also cello.

After their appearance at the “Progetto Martha Argerich 2009” in Lugano, the two young pianists gave duo recitals in Bolzano, in Aosta, Munich and Northern Germany.

They will play at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival in Germany and with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra in Taipei.

Daniel and Anton recorded for the North German Radio (NDR) and their performance at the Progetto Martha Argerich  Lugano 2009 for 6 hands with their mother Lilya Zilberstein, is part of the cds’ box "Martha Argerich and Friends in Lugano 2009" by EMI.
